Before Christmas....

So many things happen before the big day we all like to call CHRISTMAS! Carol nights, gift buying and parties! Today I invited some friends and we enjoyed a day of music, food, presents, basketball, and hanging out (as most teenagers do nowadays!).
But those few days before Christmas might mean anything for you guys! Tiresome gift shopping, preparing for that obligatory visit from your family or chilling with your friends and family!

"Easyway" was in the x-mas spirit!

And the florist got out her festive flowers!

The fireworks are never too far away at this time of year

A time when friends are drawn closer

And share their obvious excitement for the holidays

A time for food and music!

Hope you enjoy this post, and are as excited about x-mas as I am!!
Have an awesome holiday and hang out for my next post on Christmas day!! <3

Rainy days...

Rain is the last thing you expect during a summer, after days and days of heat waves and using up the electricity bill with the air conditioner. For most of you, rain means winter, and winter means hot cocoa, the heater and a good movie. But that's just not how it works when its Summer! It's still hot, and the warm couches really aren't an option right now. Your parents insist its not hot enough to put the air con on so the only choice you really have, is to go outside! And why not? A little rain never hurt anybody! I'm not saying run outside while its pouring and make wet grass angels, but its not like it's going to rain none stop right?

Here are a few things my family and I did outside on a rainy day.

A good game of basketball to keep us entertained on a weekend

mushrooms and capsicum ^^

My feet sloshed in the wet grass as I kicked the ball around the backyard

A tasty barbeque under the shelter outside

My cat was ready to go back inside!

LEGO ROBOTICS COMPETITION!

Yesterday was the national first lego league (FLL) robotics competition, and my brother's team, "The Flying pigs", came in 3rd position, a great day for us all!! The team's motto is, "When pigs fly, anything is possible...". I really like this motto, because it encourages the team to dream big and believe in the seemingly impossible!! There are millions and millions of FLL teams all around the world, and it is a great opportunity for everyone who's interested in learning how to build and program robots! So why not start up your own team and have some fun with robots??

The team's (Very trendy) flying pig hat and "Snack pack" on the right

The flying pig logo and orange t'shirt

Can you guess which team is ours?? haha
Hope you enjoyed this post and have a great day! <3

Berry again

My very first blog post was of two photos i had taken in a small town called berry. On the weekend my family and I drove past Berry again and we stayed for a lot longer this time, so I was given the opportunity to take some inspiring photos.

A place of creativity! Everywhere I look, art finds itself in the nooks and crannies of this small town.

 Berry Tea Shop

Hot, fluffy scones, fresh jam and cream? Sounds like a plan! By far the sweetest looking shop I have come across in my existence, yes- The Berry Tea shop! Teas, cakes, books, all you could ask for in life!

Getting in touch with nature

I'm tired of being inside so much.

Just recently, I began to notice my countless hours of being cooped inside the house, mainly procrastinating since the year is almost over. One day while with my best friend, we decided to leave the living room and do the seemingly impossible... go outside.  We walked to and from the shops and stole some mulberries from her neighbours tree... that's not the best example of the benefits that some fresh air can give you, and i'm not suggesting that you go and steal things, because that's not right. But I had a lot of fun outside that day, and then, I realised how much I used to enjoy playing outside as a kid, and like I mentioned in a previous post, being a kid was awesome! And so now, every weekend, I spend a lot of time outside, soaking in the fresh air and getting in touch with nature. If you're like me, and spend unhealthy amounts of time inside, why not try going for a walk down the street, or jumping on your trampoline?

The  sensation of your feet on the soft grass of your backyard

Nothing beats the flying fox I used to love. as a kid

Autumn can only mean one thing...

... The joy of throwing those dry leaves in the air, or kicking the pile of leaves your neighbour spent hours raking.

This photo was taken a few years back, but I never grew tired of my much adored trampoline!

Hope you enjoyed this post, and remember to go outside and get in touch with nature! <3
